Take care of your tattoo
Although we use the highest quality pigments in our Warsaw salon, proper tattoo care, especially when it’s new, is essential to maintaining the color’s intensity and defined contours. We inform our clients how to care for their tattoos not only to preserve their appearance but also to accelerate the healing process. Getting a tattoo involves damaging the epidermis, so the skin should be protected from bacteria that can contribute to infection. Therefore, we recommend using a high-quality protective film to ensure air circulation, and washing the skin with appropriate products, such as antibacterial gels.
Contraindications to getting a tattoo:
- age under 16,
- skin diseases such as mycosis, psoriasis, and ringworm – may cause problems with proper healing of the tattoo,
- epilepsy,
- circulatory system and heart diseases,
- pregnancy and breastfeeding,
- cold – getting a tattoo temporarily lowers the body’s immunity, so we should be healthy when getting it done,
- fresh scars – a scar can be covered with a tattoo no sooner than 2-3 years after its formation.
